In the back of the seat (both) you have a star screw bit that one you remove it you lift up on the back of the seat and the front will come up out of a groove that it slides into.

By the battery, underneath the seat locking mechanism. Remove the seat, take out the two bolts holding the locking mechanism to the frame and underneath that you will find the fuse box.
Under the drivers seat
Stamped in the frame just below the seat.
"First take off passenger seat by removing 15mm chrome acorn nut where it retains seat to the rear fender. Carefully pull the passenger seat back and up to disengage hold down tab and remove seat. Now, you should be able to see the chrome 10mm bolt that retains the drivers seat. Remove this bolt and again, carefully the pull drivers seat up and back to disengage hold down tab and remove seat. Re-installation is the reverse of this procedure." ----You don't have to remove the seat to remove the speedo There should be 3 alen head screws around the speedo. 4mm i think. Take those out. Then reach down and push the speedo cable up towards the tank to give the speedo cable some slack. There will be 2 plugs and the speedo cable connected to the back, disconnect those 3 and you're done.

remove the 2 bolts at the bottom of the seat and then remove the bottom of the seat. Then remove the two star bolts at the bottom holding the seatbelts in place, then lift the seat on both sides to remove the back of the seat from its clips. Then your all done
