It isn't trivial. Pull the trigger group, remove the forearm, remove the pin holding the barrel. I suggest that you purchase the Gun Digest Firearms Disassembly/Assembly Vol IV for centerfire sporting rifles before you take the rifle apart. You first need to remove the fore arm and then the barrel needs to be removed from the receiver. The bolt will then come out the front of the receiver.
