How do you remove the center console on a 1994 Chevy Cavalier?

To remove the front console,

1. remove the pin on the gear shift know, it's toward the dash.

2. lift up on the knob, and set it aside.

3. you will need an t-10 or t-11 torx screwdriver, open the "ashtray" and you will find the torx head screw there.

4. MAKE SURE WHEELS ARE BLOCKED! Turn on key, (DON'T START THE ENGINE), put your foot on the brake, and shift into neutral.

5. Use a thin, small, screwdriver, to lift the trim, and lift off the trim carefully, start at the back and work your way forward, going a little from side to side. as you work your way forward.

6. From here you are on your own, I do believe though that there are several 10mm screws that hold down the rest of the console.
