how to change third or center brake light on Chevy beretta 95
The only factory switches ever installed on a Chevy Beretta center console are power window switches, and trunk popper switch on the shift plate. There is also the cigarette lighter/power source. Anything else is aftermarket and added by the previous owner.
Remove the center console/cupholder. Remove the interior doghouse. Remove distributor cap.
very carefully
Passenger side, underneath the glove box. You have to remove a panel from the center console.
Remove bolts on the underside of lid at the hinge. Remove screws on bottom side of the lid. Gently pry bottom of the lid from the top of the lid, there's a metal bracket in between them. The console lid should then be apart from the console.
You will need to remove the center console cover. The lightbulb will be attached to the inside of the center console. Push the lightbulb in and turn at the same time to remove it. Reverse the process to install the new lightbulb.
Remove bottom plastic cover in center of dash first and then remove other plastic part that the first peace was attached to. (watch for hidden screws)
break it
Remove engine oil pan
