Actually, you do not need to remove the dash faceplate. The center bezel just snaps off. It is best to start around the lower part, near the read wiper/defroster switches. There are four snaps, two on each side.
Answerthere are 4 screws, Phillips that is, that 2 are above the odometer and one is at the headlight pull switch and other is at the stogie lighter. that's all there is, and pull up and out. easy.Remove the oil pan and you will see the oil pump. Simply replace it.

Remove the door panel. Remove the bolt that fastens the regulator to the window. Remove the 3 bolts that hold the regulator assembly to the door. Squeeze the entire assembly through the largest hole and replace with a new assembly in reverse order.

To remove ours we had to go underneath and take it out that way. Once we got all the bolts out we had to take off the brackets to get it to drop out. Installation is the reverse of removal. Quite a PITA!!!
