How to change dash lights on a 95 Ford Ranger?
Fuse #17 controls the power to power windows on a 2002 Ford Ranger. The fuse is located under the dash on the driver's side of the car.
The OBDII connection is under the dash, near the steering column.
I need an answer to my question. how do you remove the dashboard to install CD player in a 2002 ford explorer. thank you.
the easiest way is to take it to a shop and let them do it, you have to remove the dash to get to it
the flasher unit is either in fuse box, or is in wiring under dash
You shouldn't have to. All you need is a DIN removal tool from any auto parts store.
On a 99 ford Ranger it is located right next the radio on the drivers side behind the dash. Remove the radio and you will see in bolted on the left side of the radio hole.
Take it to a dealership. It is very easy to mess up and have to buy more parts.
Well I would say Yes, I have 1997 ranger and I had to pull the dash out twice. Removing the steering wheel made it a lot easer. I disconnected mine from under the dash and took out four nuts holding it to the bottom of the dash frame. Make sure you disconnect the Battery and then the airbag wire under the dash.
4x4 dash lights not working 94 ranger
No you don't have to remove the dash, there are four little holes on the face of the factory stereo which require a removal tool this tool can be purchased at the Ford dealer for a resonable price, after you insert the tools (one on each side) than you will be able to pull the stereo out.
