Remove the ashtray, it just slides out, and unscrew the two Phillips head screws underneath it. Remove the A/C and heater control panel by popping of the heads of the switches and the pulling out the unit. There is no screws involved when removing the control panel, it is held on by clips. Unscrew the Phillips head screws behind the control panel. Now the black trim paneling that surrounds the radio and A/C control panel should slip off(it is what was being held on by the four screws) Now you have direct access to the four screws that hold on the radio.
You have to remove the center dash panel to get access to the bolts, screws.
Pull out the ashtray and then the panel above and the cup holder . Radio will then come out

On the very bottom of the panel there are two screws holding it in place
You can remove the rear door panel from your 1992 Mercedes 300 SE by removing the clips on the perimeter of the door skin. Once the clips are removed the door panel should come off.
The PCM is located on the left side of the dash. Remove the speaker grill and then remove the speaker to gain access.

The Fuse for the radio should be located within the fuse panel. It should be a 10 watt i believe
Remove the 1992 Dodge Dakota inside door panel. The door handle mechanism will be visible. Remove the door handle linkage. Remove the door handle retaining bolts.
remove the door handle and window crank (you can use a coat hanger to remove the clip) remove the door lock knob. Then reach down at the bottom and pull out the panel. Install in the same order.
