To summarize extremely, follow the same steps for removing the engine and transaxle separately with one important difference. Instead of being able to access the transaxle to frame mounts from inside the bellhousing, you would remove the crossmember by loosening the two large nuts holding it to the frame horns. Of course you would need to remove or disconnect all lines and hoses and wires as you would for engine/ transaxle removal. It is easier to deal with removing the engine first and then the transaxle separately, but it can be done.
