Removing the front rotors on an Acura TL is clockwork. Here is a quick how-to guide:
1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels.
3. Remove the brake hose mounting bracket.
4. Remove the brake caliper bracket mounting bolts, and remove the caliper assembly from the knuckle.
5. Remove the rotor retaining screws.
6. Remove the brake rotor by pulling it straight off the wheel mounting studs or if seized in place, remove the stubborn brake rotor by threading in two 8 x 1.25mm bolts, two turns at a time until the brake rotor is released.
