easy, reove the plastic clip that locks the hose on with a flat tip screw driver. pull of hoses. using a 5/16 nut driver (or 8mm. they are the same size) rove the filter from the mount. its located on the passenger side by the fuel tank.

Passanger side, above the starter. You have to remove the starter (don't detatch any wireing, just the 2 bolts). Once you have the starter out of the way, you can remove the fuel filter. Good luck, it's a PAIN!

Yes! if its just the transmission, and no bellhousing, its a 25 minute swap, i think there might be about 8 or 9 bolts to remove including the driveshaft.

The fuel pump is located between the number 4 cylinder and the distributor cap. Two hoses should be coming in from the pasenger side of the firewall to the pump and one should be leaving the pump to the carb. The fuel filter is located at the back of the car. If you go to where the gas cap is on the drivers side and go underneath the car there will be a shroud with three bolts holding it on. if you remove these three bolts you will see the fuel filter there. It is in a little cradle that can be unbolted so that it makes it easier to remove the filter. On one side of the filter is a clip that you push in to remove the filter from the cradle.

Look under the trunk of the car. Both the fuel filter and pump are protected by a plastic cover. Remove the cover to access the pump and filter. You will need two wrenches to remove the in-line filter.
