it depends .is you car a V8 or 4cyl.?
I am not completely sure on why you battery in your Mustang would be smoking only when connected to the starter. I would take into a shop and have them look at it.
Because there are two bolts fastening it to your bell housing.
What size engine? 302
Using the starter solenoid jump the small middle terminal with the starter terminal at the rear of the solenoid
The solinoid is located on the top of the starter. Generally the starter is located on the front of the car, or the left side of the engine, next to the transmission.
It would have a starter relay and it is located in the power distribution box under the hood. Remove the black plastic cover and turn the cover over, it will tell you which relay is for the starter.
The starter solenoid is attached to the starter. Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you to the starter solenoid. The starter would have to be removed to replace the starter solenoid.
That would be inside the polar control unit
The starter is located at the front of the engine (front of the car). Look at the engine from underneath, just behind the radiator - follow the heavy gauge black wire to the starter itself.
AnswerOn my 1992 DeVille 2 door , 4.9 L, FWD. The Starter is located center of engine block underneath manifold. Basically if you picture the oil fill cap position if it were located on the bottom of the blocl the starter would be just to the rightof it. I am replacing my tranny cooler, A/C condencer, and Radiator. Due to Mother not stopping for a deer.. and cleaning the connections to the starter while I have the extra elbow room. If your deville has "PFI" in red letters on the valve cover you have a 4.9 "B" motor and the starter is on the outside left front of the engine. You can see the starter from underneath between the radiator and the oil pan.
The starter solenoid is located on the starter. It would be more cost-effective to have the entire starter replaced with a good remanufactured unit on this application.
Underneath you would have to get under the car
Starter is located at the front center of the engine under the oil filter behind the front bumper (where the front license plate would go).
97 mustang! would
starter relay would be the starter solenoid and it will be mounted on the fender about one foot from the battery in-line to the starter there is a starter relay on a 95 cavalier it is located on the top of the rad support this is not a ford with a starter solenoide a foot away if you have trouble finding the relay look on the starter and see if there is a ground wire attached to it and if so follow it up to the relay
where is the fuel filter located would like to see a picture , 1990 Nissan Sentra sedan
29s here, i work for an automotive company a recently we had a 94 or 95 caddy deville with the north star engine in for a starter replacement. the starter was located in the center of the motor! the engine is a v-shape (v8) with the intake cover acting as a lid overtop of the motor with the starter smack in the center. you would have to remove the intake in order to even see the starter if you have the same motor types. That is exactly how to remove it on a 97, i have one and the starter is located under the intake.
It is located at the front, you actually can look at it when you open the hood.I would say the middle left.
A Ford Mustang GT would be a V8
On a Ford Mustang ( V6 and V8 engines ) Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine Sensor 2 would be AFTER the exhaust has passed through the catalytic converter
The word Mustang is not in the Spanish vocabulary, it would be used the same as in English, except it would be pronounced differently. A mustang is a horse, the Spanish word for horse is "caballo".
The 1st 4 seater Ford Mustang would the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang.
That would depend on which engine you have and what year of Ford Mustang
You can probably find the picture using google image, however it will be routed the way the last person to adjust the distributor put it. As far as the firing order, it is normally1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
