you need to remove the black cover in the middle of you motor. There will be a black round cap that you need to unscrew. you might need to use a pair of plires and then just pull out the filter. they make a spaner wrench to fit the filter caps that can be found at some parts stores for about 10-15 bucks.

On top of the engine
remove the inner wheel well and it will be there
located on the driver side fender well there is a large black box with 2 latches on either side. open the latches and remove the air intake that leads to the engine. remove and replace filter. It also has a replacement indicator on the side of the box. If it show yellow its time to replace.
Top center of engine. There may be a plastic vanity shroud held on by two nuts. Remove this shroud and the filter will be there about the size of a peanut butter jar. Twist lid counterclockwise to remove and the dispensable filter will be inside.
Look by the oil filter if you have one it should be located there and then try to follow where it goes. mike

There is no "in cab" or A/C system air filter on F250/350's. It refers to changing this in the owner's manual, because Excursions have them. F250/350's do not have them.
