if you lift the engine hood there should be 4 nuts by where your headlight bulb fits into the housing.they should be size 12mm nuts.just remove those 4 nuts and the headlight bulb retainer(you remove that by twisting counter clockwise) and your headlight assembly should pull right off
Yes there is! You need to get a pair of pliers (called "snapring pliers")to remove the retainers (the little silver "do-dads" holding the headlight assembly in place... on the back of the grille opening panel). There's 2 of them on each assembly. You get those off and the headlight assembly practically FALLS out!!
you can't. You have to replace the whole headlight assembly, it doesn't come apart. check the junk yards or eBay it's cheaper.
Open the hood and look at the headlight assembly. There are three 10mm bolts holding it it. Remove these and unplug its wiring harness. Now you can remove the assembly from the car . On the back you will see three circular covers for the lamps. Unscrew these & replace lamps & reassemble! Hope this helps!
Lift the hood and loosen the round screw heads directly above lights - 2 on each. lift assembly off of the rack and unplug light
Here is a hint, ask a dealer!
how do you remove the turn signal assembly on a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville
You can go to Wal mart and ask the sales associate
you need to remove the plastic grill, followed by the passenger side front headlight assembly. the horn is a small dual disk looking device, remove the single bolt holding it to the vehicle, unplug, and remove. if that doesnt fix it, you may have a wiring problem
Bel Tempo ended in 1992.
your going to need a t-40 torx socket.
The easiest way is to pull the long bolts out of the headlight at the top of the grill, i think a 5.5mm socket fits it, the whole assembly pulls out when they are removed, and it is easily installed.
