Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2005 Chevy Cavalier heater blower motor. Remove the heater blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the heater blower fan.
Remove the wiring harness to the heater blower fan. Remove the retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the blower. Reverse the process to install the new heater blower fan.

below glove box remove heater/air conditioning cover then remove blower motor cover
Disconnect the negative battery cable, heater blower resistor wires and blower wires. Disconnect the heater core ground strap at the dash panel.Drain the cooling system and then disconnect both heater hoses at the heater.Remove the seven screws attaching the heater/blower case to the plenum and remove the heater/blower base.Remove the four screws from the heater core shroud, and then remove the shroud and core assembly.Separate the core from the shroud by removing the three screws and core mounting clamps and then separating the two.
Remove the glovebox and brace. The blower motor is mounted there with 3 screws
Remove the plastic shield marked: "oil filter and oil drain" on the splash guard under the motor.Easy to reach easy to change.
