Unplug the electircal connectors and remove the halogen bulb - Remove the front bumper - Remove the headlight housing mounting bolts and nuts and remove the housing from the body - Installation is the reverse - after you're done adjust the headlight after it is replaced.
Remove the wiring harness from your 2000 Kia headlight. Remove the headlight assembly retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new headlight assembly.

you have to remove the headlight assembly, there are 2 bolts for each side. To get to the bolts, you'll need to remove the plastic cover that goes across the front just under the hood. After you do that you can undo the bolts and access the bulbs.
If its like a 99, you have to remove the entire front bumper. That's what I had to do on mine. It was a total pain! Good luck!
Open the hood, remove the two tabs that lock the headlight assembly in place, remove the headlight assembly, doing this will give you access to the signal light socket for bulb replacement.
Open the hood of the engine compartment. Remove the wiring harness from the headlight. Remove the retaining bolts from the headlight assembly. The headlight unit will come out. Reverse the process to install the new headlight.
