How do you remove Plymouth Voyager Hatch Lift struts?

The late 90s style you remove the metal clip and then pry off the strut. Be careful because the lift gate is heavy and will hurt you if it drops down. Do one side at a time. Make sure the metal clips are in place when you go to install the new struts.

To fix a 1999 Ford Explorer with a rear lift gate that will not open, first check to make sure the lock is not damaged or broken. Then, access the inside of the lift gate by entering the vehicle. Unbolt the lift gate from the hinges and remove the gate. You can then repair the lock or see if the mounting arms are bent or damaged.

How do you replace Chevrolet venture rear speakers?

I think you have to remove the lift gate interior plastic off. I haven't looked at ours yet so look for any exposed Philips screws. Remove if any, and if it's anything like removing the door panel you'll have to pry it off the lift gate. The fasteners that hold the lift gate panel are replaceable if they get ruined. good luck

How do you replace liftgage struts on a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Liftgates are heavy as ......well, they're heavy, and those struts wear out over time. So.....to replace the struts you have to have a 2X4 to prop the lift gate up so that it won't pop you in you head. Then really, if you just follow the directions to remove the clips on the struts it turns out to be a 15 minute job. Go to a reputable parts store and buy the replacements. This is an easy and inexpensive fix.....probably around 20 bucks per strut. Just be careful because if that liftgate falls on your head the medical bill will cost a hell of a lot more than the struts.
