You need a 36 mm wrench and a holding device/spanner wrench. The clutch is normal thread. Turn it counter clockwise to loosen.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1999 Cadillac Escalade radiator fan motor. Remove the radiator fan motor retaining bolts. The radiator fan will come off.
The radiator is held in by a couple screws. Just loosen the fan shroud (4 screws), remove your hoses and lines, and lift it out.

The fan should turn off after the engine is shut off. If it stays on, the radiator fan relay has failed.
The wench will be used to remove the clutch fan nut. Remove the nuts holding the fan then remove the fan blade.

Drain the radiator, disconnect all hoses from the radiator, remove the fan shroud, loosen all radiator mounting brackets, remove the radiator. Replacement is the opposite order.

I assume this readiator is in a non-turbo car. The fan units are attached to the radiator itself. Once you remove the whole radiator fans and all it will be much easier to work on. The radiator is held in place by two clamps at either top side of the unit. Remove feed and return hoses, and unplug two temp sensors at bottom of radiator. Remove trans cooler lines (if auto trans). The fan units are secured to the radiator by four screws.
Remove battery, battery platform and then remove the small bolts at the top of the radiator. Disconnect electrical connector near the bottom of the fan. Slide the fan right and up to remove. Repeat for left side fan. When reinstalling fans make sure to engage tabs at the bottom into corresponding slots on radiator.
