How do you remove a radio from 2005 dodge ram?

First you will need to take out the screw holding the trim aroung the radio. It is located inside the trashbag hook at the bottom of the dash. Then you will need to remove the a/c knobs. The trim will then just pop out, but be careful not to break it and there will be some wiring attached. The radio itself is held in with 4 screws.

Pull out cup holder below counsel and remove the screw cover that is right above cup holder. There are 2 Philips screw under this cover, once removed you can pull off the center cover for the radio.

I think the 98 had the same dash as the 2000... If so... in that second cig lighter, flip that door up... In there is a screw...remove it. Then all you have to do is start pulling that black modeling off it should pop straight out...and it'll be kinda tough. After that modeling is off theres two bolts holdin the radio in... if i remember right its a 10mm... after those are out should come right out...disconnet the wireing, the ground, and the antenna. The molding around your radio/ player pops off, you may need to pry in the cornors. take out the 4 screws that hold in the radio/player pull out radio disconnect the antenna, power, than plug back in the new one, replace molding.

Open the Cup holder and start pulling on the dash there. Work your way around it until it is free. there are no screws holding it in place just clips. It does not sound good when you pop the first clip free, but it come off.

i took apart center wood grain console, cup holder snaps in, 3 snaps in storade area need assist with staight blade screwdriver, then remove 3 screws from center housing, then 2 screws from splash panels, was then able to get at 2 screws under bezel, as far as i got couldn't budge bezel, still working on it

pop the panel off, which is from right under the dash until right above the cup holder. . then unscrew the 4 screws arounf the radio and cut the wires

Remove the Phillips-head screw behind the bag clip to the right and below the radio. The bezel is then held in place with friction clips. Just pull to remove.

remove dash srews then take dash off radio will be visable take out mounting srews then unplug plugs
