How do you remove the rear speakers on a 1993-1995 Saturn SL series car?

AnswerPull down the rear seat backs and behind them will be 2 plastic rivets holding the rear deck carpet. Remove the rivets (they are reusable), and then you can remove the entire carpet/speaker covers as one piece. Once removed you will have full access to remove the speakers. AnswerOn the cover closest to the rear window pull it tightly towards the back seat and lift up, this will pop up one of the covers, there are 3 plastic rivits holding in the rest of the cover. Grab a thin sharp knife and slide it under the cover. You will have to cut the 2 rivats closest to the back seat, then you are able to leave the one rivat to turn the stock cover just spin it out of the way replace the speakers and then slide it back into place, but dont forget to push that corner without the rivat back in that way 2/4 things are still holding the speaker cover in place.

Its not the way you will want to do it but its the EZ'est fastest way and everything will still work fine, no one will ever know except you.
