Easiest way is to lift the hood and then gently pull on the grill and remove it. Then take out the headlight unit by pulling up on the slide pin with a screwdriver that is located on one side of the top of the headlight assembly. There is another one on the side. Then disconnect the side marker light from the assembly and the assembly will drop forward. Now you can see what you are doing and remove the plug with a twist. The bulb pops out and the new one goes in without being contaminated and shortening the life span of the bulb.
You do not have to remove grill as some have said. Just remove air cleaner assembly and you will see two rubber boots for the bulbs. Pop off the boots with a flathead screwdriver, twist off the bulb and replace it. 5 minutes.
open the hood and on the passenger side there is the air intake remove that box it is held by 3 screws. you will be able then to pop off a rubber cap from behind the headlight and then remove the headlight itself. for the driver side the battery is there, you may remove it if you want easier access but it is possible to do without removing the battery. same process for both sides.

If you can't reach inside and remove the rubber boot covering the back of the headlight assembly then do the following. Pull off the grill being careful not to break the clips or the plastic. Use a screwdriver to slide the dagger clips out that hold in the headlight assembly. You can see the tabs on the top inside and on the outside sides of the headlight assembly The headlight assembly will fall forward but you might have to remove the side marker light as the wires are very short.
