How do you remove seat off Kawasaki nomad
there are two bolts in the back of the seat. remove them and then slide the seat back about an inch and remove
Under the seat in front of the battery.
remove the passenger pad first, when removed it uncovers screws on the rear of the drivers seat. Remove these and it comes off.
Under the seat of the bike just under the fuse box.
open the toolbox on the back, and remove the screws inside it holding the seat on, it lifts right off after that.
remove seat. remove tool case. Remove terminals from battery, lift out.

Push down on the seat while you are pulling the lever, then pull up on the seat. Edit: My 96 Kawasaki Vulcan has no leaver. You simply remove the thumb screw at the very back of the seat under the rack, then pull the seat backward till it pops free from the bracket.
Vulcan 1500 is a Kawasaki.
