There is no governor. Speed is computer controlled. Replacing the whole system with a third party computer would allow adjustments to be done via PC/laptop but costs at least $3000CDN.
There is a simple way to get past the governor, just as your going top speed hold in your round cruise control button and it will bypass the governor.
You cannot remove the governor because it does not have one. Top Speed is controlled by the ECU (Computer).
It's programmed into the engine ECU. It's not an object which can be physically removed.
Buy a superchip programer.
