To access the stereo compartment, you need to remove the trim in front of it. There is a large trim piece that covers the stereo, a/c controls, and wraps over the top of the steering wheel/instrument panel. Gently pull it away from the dash. It is held in with clips, not screws. It will pop free. When you remove it, you will see the screws that hold the stereo in place. You will need a wiring harness to match the van if you are installing a new aftermarket stereo. You will likely also need an install kit. They can be bought at most places that sell decent car stereos. (Best Buy, Circuit City, Sound Advice, etc.)
