to get in to the rear light panel open rear hatch on the in where the light are is a platic cover with two to three scrwes undo it light housing come out
take the four screws of that hold on the lens cover and remove it. if you look inside there will be 3 torks screws. remove those. and that's it.
In order to change a bulb in the tail light of a Chevy Celebrity you must remove the tail light assembly from the car. To remove the tail light assembly" 1. In the trunk next to the quarter panel there are nuts that hold the rear header on, the center nut holds the tail light assembly on. It will be in the center of the tail light assembly near the outer edge. Take the nut off and pull the tail light assembly out until the stud clears the body. 2. Pull the tail light assembly to the side to disengage the tabs from the backup light panel. 3. Twist the appropriate socket to remove it from the tail light assembly, then unplug the lamp and replace it. Reverse the steps to reinstall the tail light assembly.
You will need to remove the tail light covers in the cargo compartment. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the tail light assembly retaining bolts.
You can access the Nissan taillights from the cargo compartment. Remove the tail light assembly cover. Remove the tail light wiring harness. Remove the tail light assembly retaining bolts.
Remove the lens, and the mounting screws are at the back of the box.
Open the trunk and remove the nuts holding the assembly in place. With nuts removed the tail light assembly will come out the back then you can remove the light socket to replace the bulb.
drop the tailgate on side of bed where tailgate closes are couple of screws. thses hold the light assembly in bed. remove thse ,then remove light assembly light bulb is the able to be removed from back of assembly
When replacing the rear light bulbs open the rear hatch look at the tail light assembly, you will see small bolts securing the assembly to frame. Also look between the bumper & light assembly, you will see a lower bolt attaching to frame. remove bolts, gently tug assembly upward & outward. look at the back you will see the sockets that the bulbs go in. To remove twist the socket to remove from assembly-replace with correct type bulb-have someone apply brakes or turn on the light to verify you have fixed problem-once corrected reassembly in reverse order. you have to remove the turn signal light and some of the trim (grill) to get to the screws that hold the light assembly in place. 10 minute job.
you must remove the inside trim panel and unbolt the assembly from the inside
