To replace the rear turn signal on a 2003 Expedition you have to first remove the tail light assembly. There are two screws holding the assembly in place. They are located on the inside of the assembly so you will have to open the rear hatch to get to them. You will need a T20 Torx Driver to remove these screws. Once you remove these screws the tail light assembly will pull out towards the rear of the vehicle. It is held in place by four guide pins but with a minimal amount of force you will be able to pull the assembly out. Once the assembly is out you will be able to twist and pull the light socket out of the assembly. Replace the burnt out light with a new bulb, pop the assembly back into place and replace the Torx screws. Test and your done! I had to do this today with no help. I figured i'd pass on some knowledge to anyone who is in the same boat I was in.
