you don't need to remove the whole assembly. open the hatch and there is an access door on the backside of the brakelight assembly, on the inside of the car. Pull the finger hole and you'll gain access to the bulb's socket. Twist to unlock and change the bulb.

You will need a flywheel assembly, Clutch assembly, Through out bearing assembly, Bell housing and Clutch peddle assembly. A lot of hard work. Why just not beef up the automatic that's in it?

Are these the cables for the cables for the manual windows? If so, the cables are changed as part of the assembly called a regulator. Probably available only at a dealer or junk yard. They are riveted to the door frame from the factory. you will have to drill the rivets and replace them with nuts and bolts.
