how to set the timing on 3.5 liter engine on a trooper 98
I have owned two Isuzu trooper's. and 88 and a 98. Both having higher mileage I have always used 10W-30. If your truck is burning oil it may help to get a higher viscosity of oil, but 10W-30 will get the job done.
No. The isuzu trooper 3.5 will work with a 98-2005 rodeo but a 97 is a first gen. The 3.5 is the bored stroked version of the 3.2 with all the same connections as the 2nd gen Rodeos. The 1st gen Rodeos used a different 3.2 with different connections.
You can purchase the pump at any auto supply store, Auto Zone, O'Reillys. Advance, etc.
Remove the water supply hose from the top of your 2000 Mercury Villager thermostat housing. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. The old thermostat will simply lifts out. Drop in the new thermostat and reverse the process.

6-ounces of oil and make sure that you prime the compressor as well........ A 1998 Isuzu Trooper with 3.5 engine actually uses 5 oz of pag-46. You can find alot of helpfull information about your vehicle ac system if you go to www.idqusa.com
To replace the thermostat on a 1998 Cadillac, locate the area you will be working in. The thermostat is located at the rear of the engine on the drivers side. Then locate the upper hose. Remove the upper hose from the housing and disconnect the unit. You can then safely replace the thermostat piece.
Yes if it fits
Drain the radiator into a container and keep animals away as it is toxic. Remove the top radiator hose. Remove the water inlet from the engine, and pull the thermostat out. Replace the thermostat, mount the inlet back, and put the top hose back on. Fill the system with coolant.
Just follow the top radiator hose to the engine and you will see where it clamps onto the thermostat housing. Just remove that housing and the thermostat will be under it, Will need to drain engine coolant down alittle, Do it when engine is cold.
