You just take it off...
Its at the top of the clutch pedal there is a cruise control switch disengage switch at the bottom and the one above that is the clutch inhibitor switch.
Clutch switches are usually located at the top of the clutch pedal.

It is at the very top of the clutch pedal. you have to remove the lower cover, the one by your shins. then look all the way at the top of the pedal. It looks different than you are probly used to, it is round and it rotates as you push the pedal.

It's the regular clutch position switch at the top of the pedal... the "safe start" feature is a matter of programming in the engine ECM.
at the end of the clutch cable remove nut from the top of that arm pull that arm off.
