Vectra c air vent removal.
Prize along lower edge of tiim strip that runs from n/s of dash (above glove box) to side of instrument binacle. Tender so go steady. Once removed this reveales torx fixings to side vent and centre binacle vents. Remove torx and lever vent out from base.
P S you cant get your hand in to recover coins inserted by helpfull child car cleaners!!!!!
This requires hours to remove full dash and access the heater diverter pipes....ALL FOR 3 X 1p and 1 X 2P.

To remove center air vent s a t20 tool is needed. Unscrew, climate control unit and compartment. After it is pulled away, their vents are exposed. To remove air vents unscrew bolts and pop out of place.
remove Allen screws in the vents pull the covers and remove the deck
push the a/c vents in on the top and remove the screws, you will have to look up in the vents to see them, remove the a/c knobs and the screws, pull a/c face plate off and remove four 10mm bolts hold the radio in the dash
Remove the vents and screws under the ac cluster speedometer cluster.

To remove the air vents on a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT, a person will have to pry them out with a screwdriver. Apply gentle pressure between the vent and the dash.
the radio is below the center of the windshield, right below the air vents... If you mean how do you REMOVE the radio then that's another question altogether. PULL out center air vents, REMOVE ashtray, there are 2 bolts there and 2 where you removed the air vent. Remove those and your there.

If you are attempting to remove the center air vents in the dash panel you will need to: 1. Remove the driver side Cigarette Lighter and the Passenger side Auxiliary plug-in. To do this locate the slot at the bottom on the each of these that will allow you to pop it loose with a screw driver. 2. After removing the panels un plug them and set them aside. You will then see 2 screws, remove these. 3. Carefully pry the panel loose. It will pop off but use gentle force so you do not break the panel. The air vents come off with the panel. From there you can remove them or clean them...
