In a 2001 Lincoln LS : The windshield washer fluid reservoir is at the front of the engine compartment , on the right side ( passenger side ) , between the power distribution box and the front of the engine compartment
It is attached to the bottom of the washer reservoir. I found that the easiest way to access this was to remove the plastic wheel well.

IF IT ANYTHING LIKE THE OLDER ACCENTS YOU MAY HAVE TO REMOVE THE FENDER, BUT START WITH THE WHEEL ARCH LINER, THE BOTTLE IS VISIBLE WITH THE LINER REMOVED. YOU MIGHT ALSO LOOK AT AUTOZONE.COM FOR SOME DIAGRAMS OF THE FENDER ASSEMBLY

If its anything like my 2000 tahoe-the washer reservoir is located,in the fender in front of the driver side wheel well. You must take off the plastic wheel well liner to access the reservoir-held on by 5 or 6 plastic plugs. I think there's one bolt that holds the bottle on near the bottom and then you go up top under the hood and remove an upper bolt. Remove the bottle from beneath and replacing it is the reverse but you must put the bottom bolt in first to hold it in place before going to the top and installing the top bolt.
