If there is no faster head visible then it likely is attached with a clip on the backside of the crank handle. slip the handle between the handle and door panel to remove the clip.
You Dont.
There should be an Allen head screw in the middle of the connection.
carefully pop off the plastic cover on the handle and in the center there will be a screw
remove the window handle, remove screws from armrest, remove the inner door handle and the screw on the lower rear of the door panel, lift the panel upwards to remove from the slots along the bottom of the door.
remove rear seat and then remove access panel
Or, just go buy a crank tool for $8. Be sure not to lose the clip, they can fire off very easily. it's very simple, just take a shop rag (any old rag) and slide it between the base of the window crank handle and the door panel. move the rag in a see-saw motion while pushing it towards the crank handle. this will release the c clip that holds the crank onto the shaft.
there is a clip on the inside that holds the handle on/ very simple to remove, position the handle with the handle grip up so you can see the other side of the handle. pull outward on the handle some and you should see the clip. take a skinny long screw driver and pop the clip and the handle will come right off.
How to remove 2000 ford ranger rear window. Need to replace would like to replace with a sliding window need instructions how to do it
It snaps in and laps over lower part of window one bolt by door handle
Try using two flat tip screwdrivers. They make a special pair of pliers for c-clips. As a retired auto upholsterer the easiest way to do this is to simply install the clip fully onto the handle and then push the handle onto the spine ... that's it ... easy.
