You need to go onto itunes and double click the title
This is how to do it for iOS 5: 1. Start up your iPod. 2. Go to Settings, About, Name. 3. Change the name. 4. Tap Done!
You click the bar that says "Apple iPod" which will show you it's ammount filled in a guage. Right click the bar or double click it and then rename it.
Go into itunes or were ever you stored your music and double click the track and it will be highlighted just rename it, or right click the track name and select RENAME and just type in what you want an select enter.
If the music is in MP4 format, congrats! If not, gee, that sucks. Try MP3, MPEG, or any other format that you can comvert to MP4 later on. Save it into a file, and rename it. Rename it to anything you want, but if it wasn't MP4, make sure you end it with ".mp4".(without the quotations) Plug your iPod into your computer. Copy the file into your iPod (Go to My Computer,Removeable Storage Device, and it should be there.)

You rename a directory the same way you rename a file. Use the 'mv' command to rename it.
You hold an app until it starts shaking then place it on top of another icon and then release. it should give you an option to rename your folder.

Go to the folder named Device. 6. If your iPod is locked, there will be a file _locked . Rename the file to _unlocked. 7. Safely remove your iPod and it will be .
You right click on the site you want to rename. Then you go down and click rename.
