Replace the part it is leaking from.
Factory location is on the back of the fuel filter housing. Service repair location is to move it to the fuel tank with a relocate kit.

The first step to any repair is diagnosis. That's the part where you figure out what's wrong, and what needs to be repaired. Until you do that, you're dead in the water.
check and see if the old rubber gaskit is stuck on the oil filter housing
Replace the gasket with a new one.
The only thing a diesel requires are oil and oil filter changes and fuel filter changes.These engines do not require a tune up.Unless the vehicle is running poorly then u need a diagnosis to determine if something needs repair or replacement.That's it.
If it is where the filter meets up to the mount there actually is a gasket there. If it past the mount you may need to replace the filter housing.
The factory location for the lift pump is on the driver side of the block, below the fuel filter. The factory repair kit moves it to the fuel tank.
A cracked "engine housing" probably means a cracked block. Very not good. A new engine will most likely be required to fix the problem, as a cracked block is next to impossible to repair.
Remove the heater-A/C housing from the vehicle. Refer to Housing Assembly HVAC/ Service and Repair/ Procedures. Remove the screws and retainers that secure the heater core to the heater-A/C housing. Lift the heater core straight up and out of the heater-A/C housing. INSTALLATION Lower the heater core into the heater-A/C housing. Position the retainers over the heater core tubes. Install and tighten the screws that secure the heater core and retainers to the heater-A/C housing. Tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.) . Reinstall the heater-A/C housing in the vehicle Refer to Housing Assembly HVAC/ Service and Repair/ Procedures.
