I have a Kubota L185 4x4 with this model front end loader.
As long as you are mechanically inclined, and have a good place to work and some good tools, buy yourself a M4700 Service Manual from your Kubota dealer, and have at it. If not, then I'd recommend taking it to an Agricultural Service Shop or a Kubota dealer and having it fixed. Good luck!

A "mechanical front wheel drive" tractor has front-wheel-assist which means that not only the rear drive wheels pull the tractor ahead, but the front wheels also pull the tractor.
is there something holding front axel in trans case
Front End Loader
its the front one on a tractor always.
A tractor weight is either put on the wheels as wheel weights or as suitcase weights in the front of the tractor. they add stability and traction.

The Explosives 1.3 placard may be placed on either the front of the tractor or the front of the trailer
If you are referring to the complete attachment, as shipped ready to install on the tractor, the manual says 895 lbs. If you are referring to the lift capacity (payload) of the unit, it is around 1100 lbs at about 2300 psi. Not exact numbers but should be within 100 of each figure.
The water adds weight to the back or the front of the tractor, depending on where you need it. This allows you to use a front end loader without an implement on the back.
