hi, i found on mine the actual mechanics are fine , it is the attached circuit board plugged onto the window motor that controls the speed and direction that was gone ,only problem is you need to buy the complete unit , just to unplug the connector you need, £225.00 plus vat, i bought one from a scrap yard, £40.00 complete, changed the plug holding the circuit board job done , i got a 2005 megane 1.6 16v . hi i have a 53 plate megane and i dryed the wires with hair dryer and it worked Renault are really bad for water in the electrics

For a While... MPG goes down about 7%.. all seems very good for "a While"... no Probs... until 6 months down the line, when The fuel pump cant take it anymore.. I had to SCRAP my 2001 Scenic Megane DYNAMIQUE 1.9dci as the repair was so costly.. i.e. a NEW CAM BELT £350 fitted, "coz it runs off that" and a Fuel pump costs £500.. total Job about £1100.. not inc VAT.
