If you are trying to fix a leak all you need to do is get some roofing tar from your local hardware store. Fill in the hole that is causing the leak and let it dry. apply a line of Duct Tape around the base of chimney as to not make a major mess of your roof ,similar to a painter use tape to protect the trim
