Um, fix the gas leak?
OK, that was my smartass answer for the day.
You are leaking fuel somewhere. A prime suspect, of course, is the
fuel line (s) under the hood. Check with the car running so the fuel system
is pressurized. If you find the leak, it's location will dictate what the fix is.
Take a real close look at the fuel injectors too. My '96 had a fuel leak under
the hood too. It turned out to be two leaky injectors which had to be replaced
even after replacing just the gaskets.
