I have the same exact problem with my tube hope someone out there can give an answer
There is really no safe way to repair this. You have to change the intake. This is about a 6 to 8 hour job. The oem intake has a defect. At this point Ford will not do anything for you. The old intake has a plastic cross over, which after time will crack. The new intake has been modified. Check around the net, you can find one for around 200. $
helicoil
Yes, You have to remove the intake to get the heads off.

You do not repair a head gasket you just replace it. Major repair involving removing the intake & exhaust manifold, and the heads.
somewhat..... between 400-700 dollars If you let someone do it. price depends on your engine the 3.8 or the 3.6L. Shop around.
Repairing intake gasket not preferred, you can use red silicone to seal it, but to do so, you must remove the intake, in which case, you may as well replace the gasket.
Call a dealer for the price of the part and a repair quote. if you are mechanically inclined it is an easy part to change. It is on the intake side of the engine near the front on the valve cover. I think the part is around $90.
Go to youtube, search for Davidsfarm, and he shows how to fix a valve.
usually your intake manifold is ok...the manifold gaskets are prone to failure..they are plastic with rubber impregnated seals...if the manifold is actually pitted, you can repair with JB WELD then sand smooth.... ase master certified tech
