You locate where the oil is leaking from (which can be a number of locations), and replace the failing seal.
That's the proper way to do it. Now on an OLDER HIGHER MILEAGE Vehicle here is my suggestion.
If you have a main seal leak - which can be at either end of the crank shaft , coming out from under the front pulley or dripping out of the gearbox housing - there is a *patch* one can attempt that has worked for me more than once and has been quite effective.
Put about a half pint of automatic transmission in the engine oil. THATS IT. It either works or it doesn't and what do you have to lose ?
What this does is softens and reshapes the edges of the oil seals that generally begin to dry out and get brittle with age.
A 1988 Chrysler Fifth Avenue
drivers side exhaust manifold...
You have to remove the whole dashboard and then the speaker should be exposed, then just remove it.
The correct firing order for the 318 cu. in. Chrysler engine is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
You probably neeed a wiring diagram as these lights and radio are on different circuits. Get one from MOTORLIT.COM.
there is a plastic gear inside the window motor that commonly strips out. If you have an old working motor you can swap these gears out otherwise you will have to buy new motors.
its not adjustable.
It is on the air cleaner. If the sticker is still intact it will say "electronic spark control", or "electronic fuel control" on it. It will have a vacuum line plugged in to it, and a couple of wire harnesses.
You have to pull the entire dashboard. I have done it and it gets easier every time. Get the Haynes/Chilton manual and it will tell you how. Get the proper speakers and it is a afternoon job.
well. odds are you either have a bad climate control cluster. you can go to any auto wrecker and buy then for about five bucks. I changed my cluster out for a digital climate control out of a 1992 fifth avenue, so I dont have to worry about that. anyway, the other problem you could have, is that you are out of freon. in other words, your air cvonditioning is not working. but if you have freon, then your cluster is bad.
Down towards the ground directly under the alternator. Should have 3 hoses goin to it.
In the power steering pump located on the front right side of the engine. It will have a pulley on it
