Well if its not blowing cold air, you should try the more obvious choice which is checking if its gas is there, if theres a gas leak then no cool air will blow out. This can be a very easy fix. Now if its not that it can maybe be the compressor. It could be that theres a broken seal in the compressor. The best bet is to take it to someone who knows what theyre doing

I have a 1999 Nubira, and the IACV is on the throttle body next to the TP sensor. Both are black, the IACV is the smaller, round one. The TP sensor has more of a half moon shape.
The fuel filter is located at the rear of the engine bay, at the top near the firewall. Take care removing and a special tool may be required.
