Cut the cables with a side cutters. Tape the window up until you can replace the regulator. The old one is toast

You will have to get a window regulator plastic cable to repair. Will have to remove window regulator motor assembly from door. Plastic cable is usually found in the help section of Autozone store. Can also be gotten at other parts stores also.
No, you cannot usually fix or repair a power window cable. The ends of the cable are pressed on with a pressing machine. A person has to buy a whole new track and cable setup.

Replaced several door window regulator/cable assemblies in Buicks the past couple years. The cable connections break off and "bird nest" inside the door. Repair not possible. Replace the complete window regulator/cable assembly. Auto parts stores sell the units for aprox $100. Installation is easy.

the cable has snapped or got tangled or the motor has stopped working i undone all mine to check and the cable was all worn and jammed in the mechanism carnt undo it .
