I HAVE A 99 250 SD 4X4 . THE STEERING BOX JUST BLEW A GASKET AND IS LEAKING ALL OVER CAN'T EVEN DRIVE IT. I AM GOING TO REPLACE GEAR BOX BUT I KNOW THEY MAKE A SEAL KIT FOR THEM I HAVE ONE BUT NEVER USED IT.
fuse for power windows is in the fuse panel on left side of dash under the steering wheel
It is probably the clock spring in the steering wheel
2000 for f250 has a 16 inch wheel
It should be in the center of the steering wheel. If you press it, the horn should sound. Otherwise, Idk where it would be. I don't know any cars where it is not on the steering wheel.
No!, I suspect your steering box might be at fault-I believe it can be adjusted.
steering stop fell out on one side or poor wheel alignment
Actually , the 2000 Ford F-250 owners manual shows that Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used in the power steering
Front end alignment
Take it to a certified shop and get an alignment done on it!
In fuse box under steering wheel there is a removeable panel take that off and it is #6 relay
With the engine running at idle, turn the steering wheel ALL the way to the right. Then ALL the way to the left. Do this a couple of times to get all the air our of the hoses. Refill the reservoir as needed.
On a 2004 Ford F-250 : The multifunction switch is INSIDE the steering wheel column cover ( the turn signal lever and the hazard flasher button sticks out of the steering column cover )
