Removing
Then The cowling. The tabs that secure the cowling has to be pushed down then lift the cowling off. Once of the linkage arm will expose the six bolts that has to be removed. Push the linkage down. Reach in and push the ball and socket connection for the wiper motor, This takes a little effort , don't worry it is easier to snap in. Push the entire linkage to the passenger side and then pull through the opening at the drivers side.
Replacing.
Reverse the the process for the removal of the linkage through the driver side. The new linkage is slotted so you cant mess up the positioning. Connect the six bolts (do not over tighten) go over to the passenger side and reach in and snat in the ball and socke joint to the wiper motor. replace the cowling.
Tools needed
Socket set with a two inch extension. you are at risk of hitting the windshield if you don't use the extension. Get a new set of bolts, there is a good chance that you will break the bolts on removal. the tabs holding the cowling down may also have to be replaced. Based upon age and the exposure to UV they my also break.
