First of all, realize that you MUST completely drop the ENTIRE "Suspension Crossmember" which will take at least 2 hours! Next, you MUST disconnect the exhaust pipe at the manifold, but you MUST remove the oxygen sensor which is in the way of the exhaust bolt (A LOT of fun here).
If you want to save the money and enjoy doing this, HAVE FUN MY FRIEND. It will probably take about 6 - 8 HOURS to do it right. Also you MUST have the front end aligned after all of this.
(BTW, I have owned DOZENS of Nissan SENTRAS of that vintage, NEVER HAD TO REPLACE A RACK AND PINION ON A Nissan Sentra!)
