....Well... as I have just found out.......you have to pull apart the whole dash... unscrew the steering wheel from the frame... take out the frame underneath the dash.... and then unscrew the heater side of the heater/ A/C unit. Then it comes out pretty easily. I just did it and it took me about an hour. The problem I have now is that I need to find a heater core... which has been a problem. I'm hoping that I can find one at the junk yard that will fit in my car...... and isn't damaged. I hope that helped.
You may need to replace your Thermostat or your Heater Core.

replace it. I have not had to replace one recently but 29.00 to 50.00 for heater core . Not including labor.
you can try radiator leak stopper, but i would just replace heater core .,eally cannot be repaired.
MAKE sure that is the problem.If heater is blowing cold air,reach on passenger side,under dash,and find the heater blower,and gently pull the white plastic piece to make sure it is not stuck on cold.They go from hot to cold easily but not back to heat.

on my 99 Sephia the Blower is located under the dash on the passenger side.
MY WIFE HAS A 99 KIA SEPHIA. SHE HAS HAD NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK OUT OF IT. ANYWAY THE HEATER MOTOR IS LOCATED UNDER THE DASH,RIGHT BELOW THE GLOVE BOX. I HAVE TO BEAT ON HERS WITH A RUBBER MALLET TO GET IT TO WORK.
