1. (SOME MODELS) LOCATE AND WRITE DOWN THE IGNITION INTERLOCK CODE WHICH MUST BE ENTERED THROUGH THE RADIO AFTER AN ELECTRICAL OUTAGE.
2. DISCONNECT BATTERY CABLES, POSITIVE SIDE FIRST.
3. REMOVE BATTERY BOX AND BATTERY
4. CLEAN AREA AROUND BATTERY CAVITY WITH BAKING SODA AND WATER, FLUSH THOROUGHLY. INSPECT AND CLEAN BATTRERY CLAMPS OF DEPOSITS, WIREBRUIUSG INNER SURFACES.
5. REPLACE BATTERY BOX AND BATTERY
6. APPLY PETROLEUM JELLY TO BATTERY POSTS
7. CONNECT GROUND CABLE
8. CONNECT REMAINING BATTERY CABLE

You take out the battery and reinsert it.
One way to reset a 2005 Honda Element check engine light is to disconnect the battery. The battery will need to be disconnected for about 5 minutes for the light to reset.
I don't know, but the Honda Toaster was the only one to be planned to replace the Honda Element, but not much people got those.

The starter solenoid on a Honda Element is integral to the starter. It cannot be replaced without replacing the starter as well.
The windshield fluid pump in a Honda Element is located behind the front fascia. You will need to remove the fascia and it is right there.
You wont lose the code by changing the battery. Just open the back and replace the battery . Make sure you use the correct battery and install in properly.
In order to replace the battery you will have to remove the old one. Once you do that you will see exactly the battery you need.
Go buy the Chilton's Honda Repair Manual. Unplug Battery, Slack belt tension, Remove mounts, Pull wires on back, Install new, Replace wiring and Belt, Attach Battery, test!
On the headset earpiece there is a slot labeled battery. Insert a coin (penney) to open and replace the battery.
