you are suppossed to use Honda atf you will need about 6-9 qts take drain plug out and drain fluid about 2 or 3 qts come out at a time refill trans about 3 qts start engine let run about 3 minutes . drain again refill and run again .drain and refill again and the job is finished you cannot change filter it is inside trans the filter gets replaced when trans is rebuilt
Replace transmission fluid
It indicates transmissions problems. Had this happen at 103,000 km on our 2002 Honday Odyssey and had to replace the entire transmission.
It may mean a scheduled maintenance is required, which at the minimum is an oil change. However, it can also mean more intensive maintenance is required, such as coolant flush/replace, transmission flush/replace, brake flush/replace, a tuneup (replace hoses, spark plugs, etc.).
This is commonly a problem with the transmission filter or fluid. Replace the transmission fluid or have your transmission filter taken in for maintenance.
A means replace engine oil. 1 means rotate tires. 3 means replace transmission oil.

According to Honda, no, it is a lifetime fluid. My advice is to change it every 75,000 miles.
It is in Odyssey manual page 324 (Maintenance minder). Under code B many things have to be checked including brakes, tires, tire rod ends etc. code 2 is to replace filters and 4 is to replace spark plugs and timing belt.
