There are two (2) lights directly above the license plate. Each light has two (2) screws. Remove these screws and the covers. Lights pop out with little effort. Replace bad bulbs with size 194 lights. These are approx $2 at Walmart or an auto parts store. Once bulbs are replaced, reattach covers with the screws and you should be good to go.
To replace the headlight bulb in a 1994 Nissan Sentra first prop the hood of the car. Locate the headlights and remove the bulbs from the housing. Install the new bulbs.
To replace the taillights on a 2001 Nissan front first prop the hatch open. Locate the rear lights plastic housing and remove them to find the bulbs. Replace the bulbs.

The headlight bulb is the part to replace on the 96 Sentra, unless the whole headlight unit was damaged. I suggest buying the bulbs in pairs and replace them both. Then you don't have to do the whole process over in a month when the other bulb goes! The Sentra's bulbs are held in by a wire clip. Looks like it was made from an old coat hanger. Its a tad tricky to get it to unhinge, but it will pop open. Just unplug the old bulb and pop the new one in. Then fiddle with the wire until its clipped back into place. Do this in the daylight because its no fun trying to play with that darn wire in the dark, trust me!

To change the light bulb on a Nissan Micra first lift the hood of the car. Find the headlight housings the pull the light bulbs from the ballast. Replace the bulbs.

Try the fuse and then the bulbs.
You need to remove the liner on the trunk lid. That will give you access to the license plate lights housing. Remove the sockets by twisting 1/4 turn and replace bulbs. Size for bulbs are 2825
Ok, the screws are rubber or plastic and when you go to unscrew they just spin or strip. So get needle nose pliers and pull them straight out ! Replace the bulbs and use screws as plugs and plugs them back in. yea Knowing is half of the battle.
