it is easier to do it with the engine out of the truck but what you need to do is use a hammer and a chizzle which is rounded and not sharp because you want to place it on the inside of the cap and tap only on one side so the other side pops out towards you and just pull it out with your hand.DO NOT USE A SHARP CHIZZLE AND TRY TO TAP IT FROM THE SMALL PORTION OF THE LIP.you will gouge the block where it seals up and no matter how much silicone you put n it water will leak out.
