How do you replace a PS power window on a 94 ford explorer?

replace or fix 94 explorer elec windowok, There are (2) Options, 1st, is to goto autozone, and order the Motor, runs about 68.00+tax, most don't have them instock, remove door panel, 3 screws, tape end of flat screw driver wide as you have, or a really wide flat steel crow bar works great, start at bottom left left out and work your way around panel until it comes loose, it will dangle until you unplug the elec.window control unit and the lower right door lights/ reflector lights, the control unit has two Philips screws holding them in and pop it open, next turn the reflector panel door bulb to the left and it will pop out also, now your in business. peel the plastic dust cover off the door and save as much as posiable for reinstall later, next, remove speaker, 4 screws, and pulg harness, now, there are 4 brass color nuts in a row and One that is a funny looking revit cap looking one! you need a 1/2" drill bit, and drill, if you reach through the speaker hole you will feel the 2 bolts holding the Motor to the crank arm, on the out side panel right below the speaker hole you will notice a dimple in the panel, you have to drill the out to get to the screw behind the panel to remove the motor! after this, you can reach in and remove the other to nuts and replace with the new motor and put back togerther in the same manor! Or wanna save some money! after removeing the motor you can remove the cover off the old motor 5 screw, and clean out the trashed out grind up old bushing and greese, and clean, now go to autozone or a hardwear store and buy 3 round 10mmx10mm cylender type bushing, and sand the edges off a little and apply some greese and replace where the old ones were and put back together for about 5.00 and your in business! please look at the link and see for yourself, and you will feel a little better about this. if you fix it, please email me at alanspence5@tampabay.rr.com, good luck.http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145469&page=1
